Company Background
Lighting Technologies, based in Edgewood, MD recently released their patent pending LED lighting line. Over 4 years in research and development, these lights are making a rapid impact in the market due to their substantial energy savings, extended life cycle and improved performance.

Lighting Technologies evolved from Control Technologies, a 28 year old highly respected manufacturer of traffic control devices, video detection and signals. Control Technologies was prominent in the introduction of LED’s to traffic lights over 10 years ago. Municipalities who made the conversion to LED’s have reaped huge savings in both energy and money. Now LED’s are a proven reliable and efficient lighting source used in many applications for the traffic world. This success led to the creation of Lighting Technologies whose goal is to make the same impact in the general-purpose lighting arena. Our energy efficient product line includes applications for; street lighting, parking lot / garage lighting, architectural, sign, security, retail and work lighting. Our clients include Esco’s, lighting designers / contractors, municipalities, airports, universities, developers and national real estate management firms. Lighting Technologies is committed to good global citizenship as evidenced by its stance on sustainability and 100% recyclable products.
